This evening marks the culmination of our 2026 Staff Academy program as we hear from special guest speakers, honor outstanding AANHPI leaders, and celebrate our community!

Team Tortoise of Legislative Staff Academy Cohort 8 is excited to host Lights, Community, Action, an event supporting the 10th Annual Sacramento Asian Pacific Film Festival. 

Join us for an evening of connecting with community members, hearing from festival representatives, and celebrating the power of storytelling from API voices in film. Enjoy networking, popcorn and refreshments, a professional photo opportunity, and the chance to support a growing cultural event in Sacramento. We hope to see you there!
