We invite you to attend and celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage and style at our Cultural Fashion Show, hosted by Team Hare of the Legislative Staff Academy Cohort 8.

This evening will be dedicated to showcasing traditional and contemporary cultural attire, while creating a space for community, connection, and shared celebration!  

We are honored to be partnering with My Sister’s House for this event. All proceeds will be benefiting their organization to provide safe shelter and support for women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. My Sister’s House is a Sacramento-based nonprofit that provides a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community services for impacted Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children. 

You are encouraged to bring your friends and wear cultural attire. Your attendance will be greatly appreciated in support of this year’s Staff Academy cohort and My Sister’s House.
