Capitol Academy
State Leadership: A View from Sacramento
Is an intensive three-day leadership development program to support and train AANHPI local elected and appointed officials for higher office. Launched in 2006, the Capitol Academy is designed to provide participants with insight into the inner workings of the State Capitol’s network. Participants have an opportunity to learn from senior political and policy experts.
Program Costs
The Capitol Academy is hosted in person in Sacramento and the program costs covers travel, lodging, and most meals for participants. The Academy will be held virtually and in person in 2021. Up to 12 applicants will be selected to participate in the 2021 Capitol Academy.

The 10th Biennial Capitol Academy will be held virtually and in person in 2021 from October 29-31, 2021.
